In continuation with my Part I of Ohhh What a Variety I am going to further describe and illustrate to you the other three main food courts that Purdue has to offer. Windsor is the third dining court and is located in the all girls dorm. It is known to be directed towards people that are vegan. It has more to offer in that sense and is more of a central food court rather than Hillenbrand and Earhart that are further away from campus. I have just eaten breakfast there and it was good. I made waffles that had the little boilermaker imprinted in them topped with strawberries and some eggs. I thought it was a clever idea with the waffle maker and how it makes them turn out, I was not expecting that.
Ford is the biggest and has the greatest selection every day. When you first walk in they have the salad bar on the right and pizza on the left followed by the desserts, international market, the sandwich line, legal grease, and potato potato they call it which basically has hardy wholesome food like ribs, potatoes, a vegetable, soup, and meatloaf. I have found that this food court is very nice and convenient on game days when you are walking back and you’re hungry and want to have something to eat. It is right on the way and is never disappointing and with it being two stories tall you can always find a seat.
The last and final food court is Tarkington which I am sad to say I have never been in or heard anything about it. Hopefully I will be there soon and can write about my experience later. You can always check ahead of time on the Purdue University website and it will list the menus for the whole week. I hope you have found this helpful if you have not visited or ate at any of these places. They all individual have pros and cons about them and allow you to try and experience new foods so you may not get sick of the same thing.
